New Mag254 Box but can I set it up?

Although I have a Mag254 with a paid subscription which I am very satisfied with, I need another box for my spare bedroom just for TV when my grandchildren visit, as we do not have a sat dish or aerial I was looking at the alternatives. Read a lot on this forum about setting these boxes up but am not sure if I could do it and then let the kids have TV in their bedroom.
I am not sure I fully understand all the things that are spoken about on here like for instance point 7 on the published set up guide
    7. Click "Portals" and enter your server info. There are 2 there. For "Portal 1 name" put Rocket and "Portal 1 URL" is
    Code: NFPS - http://11.iptvprivateserver.tv
    Rocket - http://11.iptvrocket.tv
    IPTV66 - http://66.iptv66.tv
Is this all I would have to do to get the TV options working?

Sorry if this sounds like I am a numpty but actually I think I am lol.

I have been offered a new Mag254 at a very reasonable price hence considering this option.

    Thanks

You will need a separate donation number for the second unit or if you do not use both at the same time then you need to switch the MAC address on the website to the unit you want to use at the time.

Just to clarify I can get the Mag254 following the instruction to set it up and then purchase the donation number (from your suggestion at 80 dollars min package) and once I have the number and input it I will be able to watch TV programs without all the hassle of using a Kodi box?
I am looking once everything is loaded for a 'plug and play' with an EPG so my grandchildren can just turn it all on and watch whatever programs they want (of course with parental control set up first).
Or do I need anything else?

Yes the Mag254 is extremely easy to setup, you need to put in the info in the portal, reset and you are ready to watch tv (No Kodi to worry about)
