renew don or buy another?

guys, im running nearly on empty and soon time to reload my rocket - pls, what is best, way to avoid mac issues? im guessing there is no such thing as renewing and using same mac id? would like easiest way and avoid these issues...

think i read a while back that they will give peeps a hard time connecting if trying to use same mac id off a used up don ? is this still the case? just wanting to clarify as i get ready for another rocket..

or is the answer simply make a new one up (last four digits) ?but then i sure wouldnt want to try a 4 digit sequence that eventually belongs to another donator and mess his/hers up..kwim - thanks guys

Don't gripe if your question is not answered within an hour. Believe it or not, you're not the only person here asking for help.

You can renew using the same MAC if you have less than 30 days remaining on your donation and no more than 30 days have elapsed since your donation expired. That being said, people have had issues from time-to-time, but that is the suggestion.

I renewed using the same MAC the last 2 years without any problems. Good luck.
