RPi Kodi openelec stalker login error and error and error and...

Something crashed so I had to reload the entire image. Tried to setup stalker again (nfps) and tried to follow the printouts from iptvtalk that worked last time. So I discover several "update" and am now so freaking confused I could just spit.
Is there a current (as of August 2016) that specifically states what we put in what blank on the configure screen? PLEASE?
    Please?

Yeah, I have searched. I repeat, I have searched and am still dazed and confused.

    Thanks,
    4dtvfan

Things haven't changed in a while. This tutorial covers all of the current requirements. If you're confused about something, post a specific question.

I found out in system-> settings that it is kodi 15.2. So, following the instructions in your URL, I now at least have the auth error not showing up. However, it still says "unable to load channels." I cleared cache and cleared cache, enabled and disabled stalker, and enabled and disabled tv, over and over and over again. Still get the load channels problem. I even tried the kodi 16 settings but of course that didn't work.
What do I try now, please?
    Thanks,

Also, I'm trying to do it on the linux pc as well but it has a vastly simplified nfps settings page. I assume it's because it's kodi 16+.
Does nfps compare the actual last 3 octets of the network adapter id to what is in your donation info? If so, that's why the pc isn't working but that doesn't explain why the RPi2 isn't working.
    <very big sigh>

(yes, I know I can't do both at the same time.)

Try going to the Donation Checker and doing an IPTV Reset. Make sure you are logged out of Kodi when you do it. Wait a few minutes after the reset before firing up Kodi again.

I did the reset thing a week ago. Should I do it again?

If you are encountering issues again, yes. It is the first line of attack after trying a simple reboot of the device, modem and router.

I had the best luck with the built in stalker client on the openelec repo. The other ones that are available either gave me issues or were unstable in the end. The epg update service works best for configuring the clients for you imo.

Lance, where do I find info about the "epg update service" that configures clients for you?

Sorry for the late reply.. you can find the instructions below.

I ended up disabling the service after it configured stalker properly.

    Good luck!
