I haven't noticed any channels with Dolby Digital audio. Are there channels that have Dolby Digital and is there a best audio setting?

If any channel used Dolby Digital the HDMI cable should carry digital audio. Your TV should have a Dolby decode system so you can noticed. If not , there is a S/PDIF output on rear for optical digital Dolby sound. I know its there haven't try it yet.
I'm using HDMI into my processor and it only shows Dolby PLII not DD.
My Sony Amplifier/Home Theater System will light up with a small blue light on the front display when I hit a DD channel, it will also display AC-3.
The only way that works for me is by using the S/PDIF/Optic connection. I test this with some known AC-3 channels from a satellite source.
I have the optic connected from Sony to the Mag now (along with HDMI from TV to Mag) and so far am not getting any AC-3 channels.
Dolby Pro-Logic is working with every channel, some channels better then others. Some of them music channels sound pretty nice.
I will keep checking each channel and report if I find any AC-3 channels so yous can test with.
Thanx Crazed2.0
I know some of the channels are putting out DD, because they show it on the screen. Especially the Fox HD movie stuff.
I think NFPS disable it for now, I have try it with my Yamaha Sou.System with no luck in any channel , my connection is S/PDIF/Optic connection and Yamaha light 4 little speakers on the dashboard when DD is ON like Over The Air local.
try some of the HD movies in VOD...

you funny guy
That would mean I'd have to disconnect the Mag and connect the avov again and then do it all over again.
I still haven't fixed up my rats nest of connections, TVs, sat receivers and now IPTV receivers. I was just able to get enough slack on that optic cable without having to untangle it from the mother of tangled messes, to connect to Mag... lol
I don't wanna tangle with the tangled mess
