    Stalker Channel Management for PC

    1) Start Kodi, when channels load
    2) Right click over the channels
    3) Find Group management option, click
    4) Click add group, then name
    5) Select the channels you want, then click OK
    6) Return to main channel screen
    7) move cursor to left of screen
    8) Under view option select Group
    9) Select group you just created... done

May have options similar to these for your boxes etc... Not sure

    Thanks for this information.

I Have put in the time to create and populate groups. And also hiding channels of no interest, a big job unless there is some easy way to select more than one at a time. My question is how can this work be backed up, and restored, if that should become necessary say in an update for example.

    thanks

There is a backup ultility addon out there if you don't know how to do it manually.

Use USB-SDCARD WIZARD and you will have a complete backup/restore.

Youll have to redo as they add new channels though...

I much prefer to be in charge of my own system and so would prefer to do these backups myself. I've looked at my HD including the user folders but don't see the files I should backup. Can you advise path to these files please.

    Read this:

    Code:
     http://kodi.wiki/view/Userdata
To get back on topic, for the stalker settings/ channels you may have to copy the 'database' folder as it's not readily apparent where the pvr clients save their persistent data.

I made a group called "test" to try to figure out how it works.
Umm.. now how do I delete a group that I made? (or rename) I can't find the option.
