HOLLYWOOD, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- A portion of Hollywood Boulevard is closed down Monday as Van Halen gets ready to entertain a huge crowd for ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live."
The street is closed between Orange Street and Highland Avenue until 6 a.m. Tuesday while crews prepare the stage.
The band, including original lead singer David Lee Roth with brothers Alex and Eddie Van Halen, will perform a special concert. The show will be broadcast Monday and Tuesday night.
This marks the rock band's first television performance in the U.S. with Roth.
It's part of Van Halen's celebration of their 2015 summer and fall North American tour, which kicks off July 5 in Seattle. Tickets for the tour go on sale April 4.
