Few days remaining on my donation ?

See a lot of threads about people having issues with renewing their donations instead of making a new donation, what is best? I've been reading a new donation activation could take up to 48 hrs, or less.
What are my best coarse of action without seen a interuption l?
Make a new donation or renewal?

i would make new one but before the other one ends change the old mac to all 000000 that way wont have any problems

My donation terminated 21 May - purchased new donation and had my Mag254 up and running in about 15 min. I did not get any email confirming my new donation. Used donation checker and found my donation good for 365 dys. Booted up my 254 and would not take my pass word showing error. Checked donation again and found that my MAC address was all zeros. Filled in correct MAC address and instant TV. I am very happy with the service received fm this site. Great fm the very beginning when I was operating using IKS.
I guess the above post about all zeros is correct.

FYI
Did the renewal, using my original email from previous year, using same donation #. Transaction went smotly, iks reset the Mac to zeros, then I linked them again donation with MAC address, I rebooted the mag254, I did have to entered twice the donation # it seems that the barber bar gets stuck on the first time after putting the donation, rebooted again and it prompt me again for the donation #, (be advised that you have to use the cyber keyboard and no the remote control numbers, it won't work)
Then it loads into the main page.
I didn't get a confirmation email after my renewal, but it would be nice to get one, no everyone keeps record what happened last year for obvious reasons. Although my subs said 365 days remaining.
