How to stop Kodi/Stalker from rescanning all channels on boot?

It takes forever, and it causes a tremendous amount of lag when trying to browse channels whilst it's still "scanning" (which includes all the VOD content). Any help?

You should really let the scanning finish before you attempt to browse. You can diminish the time it takes by hiding (deselecting) channels and their respective epg info in the pvr channel manager. You can also un-tic the 'use channel numbers and order' from the Live TV setting to help speed up initial loading time. Take the time to do that now (and then be careful to NOT clear TV data in the future or you will lose these tweaks and will need to do it again)...or just get used to it. This is one of the drawbacks of having too many channels!
