The history of the MAG 250 device is bound to two firms: Tele Tec and Infomir.

Both you will find in ODESSA, Ukraine. The production plant stands directly within the Port of Odessa.

Some differences on the first look:

- The remote of MAG 250 was that bigger one, MAG 254 has the new thinner and programable one!
- MAG 250 has a CPU with 450 MHZ, the MAG 254/255 is faster: 650 MHz.
- MAG 250 works with 5V and MAG 254/255 with 12 Volts.
- The Ethernet Input at the backside is on the left side of MAG 250 and on the right of MAG 254/255.
