Avov remote

So my dogs ate my avov tv online plus remote.
I live on an island so getting a replacement remote will take a while and probably cost a lot more than it should due to postage.
Is there any other option. I can't find any apps which will enable me to control it from my phone (I have an android)

I know the minix a2 lite works with the avov plus pretty good remote have one at home
