    Mag 254 HDMI not working

Hi guys, I've tried to get this working on HDMI and it refused to work. It worked for a while but with no sound and now no picture or sound at all. I've tried all the video settings from Auto to 1080p and still nothing, at the minute I just have it running via the 3.5mm to component which runs in Pal and although it's a half decent picture it's still not HD. I know the HDMI socket is working fine on the TV as I have an Android box running from it for now and the other HDMI ports are working ok. Its just the Mag 254 refused to kick into the HDMI and I'm left with blue screen everything I try to use it.

Any ideas of why this is happening or how to solve it?

    Cheers

I had the same problem. I had picture but no sound. After some reading i found the solution. Get into settings & then video & make sure force DVI is turned off. Rebooted the unit & all was good for me. I hope this helps & works for you as well.

Hi guys, I reset the box loads of times and the Force DVI was turned off already. I have tried the Mag on different TV's and it works fine but seems it just doesn't like the TV I want to use.
No biggy anyway, I've just put my MXQ into the HDMI and left the Mag 254 on the other. It will do ok as I watch movies on HD anyway via Kodi. Maybe when I get a new TV in the future it will work with that...lol

if you want your Mag to work with HDMI on that TV then use an HDMI switch.
I had same problem with a Mag and a Vixo2 on one of my TVs, an HDMI port switch fixed that issue.
