MAG 254: New Firmware Update 0.2.18-r11-254 !

Hello from Freiburg, Germany!

Today I booted my MAG 254 and a window popped up: New Update !

Device info is telling now: RootFS Version: 0.2.18-r11-254 Wed Mar 18 17:58:59 EET 2015

I did the Firmware update with F1 and it rebooted fine. Now we must look for the new Features.

The first I saw was that now in Servers also the MAG 254 can set more than two Portals like on the AuraHD Plus and AuraHD International Second Edition boxes. Nice!

F1 More: Opens Multportal mode for 8 Portals max.

what video prob are you having, BD??

as stated in another thread , certain .avi files , other peeps with same prob as well . plays ok on jynxbox and in vlc .
will update and post results

Thanks for posting. I did the update. However, I am now able to use a third server. great update.

Question here: When multiple portal mode is selected, I can no longer switch portal. Whenever I do a portal reload, it goes back to the same server (default server). How do I switch between portals when the multiple server mode is selected? Or should I open a new thread for this question? Thanks

I went to the inner portal to update as well. F1 does bring up a new menu for additional portals. I guess you have to fill out portal 2 in order to get the full 8.
