I noticed ppv are showing half screen

yes, noticed same thing with PPV channels and T1
Have tried the avov and PPV channels are normal with that.

The T1 has the bottom one third of the screen blocked out.
It is the same background color as what you see when on the dreamonline screen.

Just got my t1 today and so far VERY impressed with it.Features are cool,nice menu,very easy to use and setup.Like any new box upgrades will be available to address issues.
