is there an easier way changing channels insetad of scrolling thru them all

Lets for instance you are channel 105 and you want to go to channel 340,,how can i get there with out scrolling thru all the channels untill i get to 340.. thats what i have to do now ,,,i hit 340 then ok but when i do that the channel dont change ..so any body know ,,thanks

I have punched in the channel number and OK and it goes to that channel nicely, I do it often. Mag254

Should go to number entered, can also go Up/Dn one page at a time using the double arrows just above centre on left Mag254, use that a lot to see what is in list.

sparky_sc,,,,thanks i just tried it and it worked fine ,,,but the other day it would not change ,,i will keep an eye on it ,,also i set the adult password from 0000 to 0987 that also went back to 0000 so i dont know how that happened so i changed it back to 0987 so far so good ...
