So far for me it keeps getting stuck on fetching sources.

Same here. Tried it on Android and Windows using Kodi 14.1.

Same here. Tried on Ubuntu 14.04 with Kodi 14.1 I did not see anyplace to change the mac address nor select a server so Iḿ guessing the problem lies there.

The same for me and fetching sources and stop may because I have Canadian ip.
