I have owned 2 mag254 for several months now. 1 of them i had hooked up to an older tv so i had it hooked up with the a/v cables. I recently upgraded tvs
& tried to hook up with HDMI cables. The picture comes in but get no audilo through it. I switched cables with the one that worked good with video & audio but still no audio on the one mag. Anyone else ever had this problem ? Thanks in advance for any & all response.

on my tv i can change the hdmi from 1.4 to 2.0
when the hdmi is set to 2.0,i have no audio on the tv or surround sound system. i set it to hdmi1.4 and all worked well. i don't know if you can change your hdmi settings or not,but,this helped me.

Thanks for the response gregm. I ended up switching mags between the 2 tv's. The one good mag i will call it works on both tv's with both video & audio & the one bad mag only has video on both tv's. So it looks like there is a problem with the audio on the bad mag when using an hdmi cable but audio works when connected with a/v cables.

I did a little more reading & found out that i had to go to video settings ( go figure that to fix an audio problem ) & turn force dvi to off , Reboot device & all is good working perfectly. Thanks to the this forum & all the helpful members. Keep up the good work !
