Buffering a lot

Hi Everyone,

I've been experiencing some heavy buffering lately while trying to watch tv thru the Stalker Client PVR addon. I thought that the weekend down time would improve my situation but it hasn't one bit. I'm using an Nvidia Shield TV w/ Kodi 16, a Fire TV w/ Kodi 15 and a Nexus 6P w/ Kodi 16. I get the same buffering with all three.
I've tried messing with the advanced settings but nothing seems to help. I've also tried streaming at different times of day to rule out a busy ISP or busy server. The only thing I haven't tried is using my cellphone data to stream, but that will have to wait until tomorrow.

Any help will be appreciated. Sorry for my english, since it is not my first language.

everything is good for me... would have to think it's Internet related.... are you wired in on your shield or are both devices wireless?

They are both wired.

Last night I installed a free VPN app to the N6P and gave it another try. For my surprise the buffering stopped. I still have to try it on the Shield TV, but I couldn't make the vpn app run on the FTV.
It seems that my ISP started throttling NFPS, not 100% sure, but that's the only explanation thay crosses my mind to the results I'm getting.

Any thoughts?

its possible or the pipeline your running through to get out to NFPS is crap and rerouting through a VPN helps.... hard to say

you could do some traceroute tests
