Well he is going to buy a new modem he states so hopefully he can resolve is hardware issues first. It was worth a shot good luck we are here to help keep us updated on how you made out with your new modem.

I see no reason for a new modem, just call her provider and tell them to authorize her box for use w/ Hulu or Netflix..that would take care of it, if that's the prob..

After calling me in to work they didn't need me afterall. Here I am. The latest is. I started over from the beginning and went thru the setup again line by line. Evervthing was ok. After I rebooted it came "press menu to load portal " which I did it came up"page loading error, check connection and page url" To the right of that in red letters was internet OFF, ethernet ON, IP, etc. It also listed (on the left side) 3 portals, embedded, http//:1.iptvprivateserver.tv and 1.iptvprivateserver.tv I can't seem to be able to move over to the right maybe turn the internet on. What do I do now?

the semicolon in your portal address should be to the left of the double forward slashes.

Good afternoon all. I am like the bad penny. And yes, I am still having problems. Yesterday in post 39 Kool suggested I start fresh. It went easy as pie, no problems. After finishing the procedure I still have nothing working. Video still says "file missing" and nothing on tv channels. According to the inner portal I do have internet and ethernet and it shows on the main menu that the firmware is r10. Help Help

Your predicament is SO familiar. Been through it many times in many formats. 1> Be stubborn 2> keep trying 3> see 1 and 2. I had to reset my 254 back to defalt 5 or 6 times after it updated itself and the file corrupted. Same repetitious failures. Now..bingo.. was ready to toss it. ps. always recheck your own input to the unit and ALWAYS take your time. Sometimes is takes many tries to get there.
