Most channels are in SD version so you really cant do much to get the picture better.

I'm also fairly new to IPTV and I'm quite disappointed with the quality of most of the channels. Many promote IPTV as being the future of TV and I agree with that statement from a distribution standpoint. However, from a quality standpoint I strongly disagree; the quality however is YEARS behind (SD channels come on!). The movie selection has good titles but again the quality is horrible.

I expected a fairly abundant offering of HD channels and movies with at a minimum 720p quality. Sadly there was no trial offer (and I can see why), so I wasted money on a MAG 254 and IPTV66.

Any advice? Hopefully someone wizes up and offers customers fewer channels but at HD Quality, I'll spend my money on that.

Quality is ok, but on movements a lot of channels seems pixelated, mostly sports.

I'll take that to mean there's aren't any providers of high quality iptv streams, how unfortunate. I can at least be rest assured that I didn't pay for a year of service.

    Ill continue searching

I don't really care about quality, ok. We pay $105 a year to have a iptv service with the most importants channels from US and UK, not mentioning from the other countries.

In my case, doesn't bother me that the channels are in SD quality, I can watch, and it's that what really matters.

I'll take a look at it when I can to verify the quality. If these channels are indeed better looking, I'll see if I can form a 'group' within the MAG 254 to allow for easy access to it and turn a blind eye to the low resolution ones.

I know that the resolutions of some channels may be a result of bandwidth considerations. As a community can we lobby for higher quality on some of the channels during certain periods? Like for Olympics, Cricket & Football World Cups, Game of Thrones etc?

I don't know if the providers actually read these forums but we can come to middle ground to meet the needs of the penny pinchers and the quality seekers alike.
