Fire TV stick crashing using Kodi 15.2

Hi As the title says I have a fire TV stick with Kodi on it. I bought it online so didnt set it all up first time but its been fine for the past 3-4 months.

Was working fine until last week maybe the week before I cant remember when I last used it, it seems to have lost all its addons etc but thats not the main issue yet.

If you load Kodi it randomly crashes every time sometimes 2 seconds sometimes 20 and then it can last a few mins but it ALWAYS crashes out.

Did a forced stop
rebooted fires stick
cleared cache etc.

Now for me to get it back up working with add-ons I need to be able to load it in the first place correctly can anyone help me please.

Reinstall 15.2 or jump up to the 16.1. worked for me.
