    old tv set

Would like to get a new avov model, hook that with the HDMI connection. I would like to put my current Avov tvonline model on my older TV set with composite connection. I purchased a composite (yellow, red, white) to 3.5mm audio/video cable. Tried connecting the cable to older TV set using av on the back panel of tvonline, did not work. Was wondering if I am using the wrong cable. Has anyone got an Avov model to work using composite to 3.5mm cable, and not HDMI connection?

Unless tv has av input you will need a modulator. AV to coax. If you have av inputs should work. av cable has yellow for video white for left and red for right audio.

Also make sure you select the source on the tv and select av as well

You may have a bad set of composite cables. I bought some cheap ones from China that I couldn't get to work. I use the composite cable that came with one of my MAG boxes and that works fine with any of my Avov boxes.

What happens when you plug it in - do you get any picture at all or just a blank screen searching for signal?

I kind of get a distorted picture where I see the Avov TV online logo and main menu, but too much distortion. I solved the issue by purchasing a HDMI to audio/video (yellow, red, white) switch. I am now able to connect my Avov tvonline to older tv set, by using the switch, instead of cable.
