Fire tv stick

I was just wondering if anyone that has an amazon fire stick could tell me if the mlb tv app works for fire stick or not? I am just wondering because I bought a premium subscription and need a way to run it to my tv and figured that be the cheapest way to do if it will work that way! I looked in amazons website but couldn't really tell for sure so figured I ask someone that has one to see if maybe they knew. Thanks in advance for an answer and hope all have a great weekend!
