Question AVOV 2 > Dream IPTV app > Adult 3D channels - which type of 3D glasses are required ?

I just recently saw a list of new 3D channels listed on the Adult -Dream IPTV app--------can anyone shed some light on which type of 3D glasses is required to view these channels. Nvidia 3D ? Panasonic Tv 3D glasses do not work....anyone know ?

This comes from an old article , 2010 I think.

    Quote...
Depending on which brand and model TV or video projector, will determine which type of glasses (passive polarized or active shutter) you will be required for use with that TV or video projector.
Manufacturers appear to be taking the Active Shutter glasses route to their 3D products, at least with regards to LCD, Plasma, and DLP televisions.

If you and your neighbors have different brand 3D-TVs, you will, in most cases, not be able to borrow each other's 3D glasses. For more details on why 3D Glasses for one brand 3D-TV may not work with another 3D-TV, check out the report from Big Picture and Big Sound.

But there are several companies that make 3D glasses that can be used on several brands of TVs and video projectors. One example is XpanD, a third party company that makes 3D glasses for both commercial and consumer applications, now offers Universal 3D Glasses that can work on most currently available 3D TVs that use the Active Shutter system
I must not forget, we must not forget, that we are human beings.

I "think" the 3D glasses required are more dependent on the box, software or type of 3D that the actual 3D programming as my Panasonic doesn't even see the Dream IPTV signal as its either recorded and coming through the AVOV box and not through the regular tv or sat tv boxes. I know Nvidia, Sony and a pile of others have worked out various versions of 3D glasses that relate to their software and this is where I "think" the Adult 3D channels are using some form of 3D rendering software, but not sure as to which type or which glasses they use for it ? Might have to go online and try to find out who is providing the Adult channel 3D listings and see what they might divulge.
My TV doesn't even pick up a 3D signal of any kind.

P.S. I'll try and locate a pair of those active shutter 3D glasses and see if they work, if I do, I'll post the results here.

Nope, its dependent of the TV, I had a Gbox Midnight and used it on two 3D TVs with different glasses, worked fine but you had to change the settings on the TV to 3D movie settings that you are loading before!!
