Mag 254 Can't Change Channels

Portal loads fine and can watch channels but after a few minutes on one channel that channel stays on even after selecting a different channel from the channel list. If I return to the main menu and back to live TV or VOD the channel or movie list is blank. Have to reload the portal to get back and the problem persists. This just started a few days ago. Any ideas how to fix this problem? I've tried every imaginable configuration option with no success.

Hard wired with 5 mbps.

would say hold off on changing thing i have not touch my box for over few months some days have problem and days it runs great so if you didnt change anything hold off and like K00lKatT said check if you set your box to manually update

It has the latest Jan 14 s/w.

Problem seems to have gone away with a new ISP. The one I had before had known problems for online gamers according to local users.
