Travelling with my box

Hi,

Am I allowed to take my box (and subscription) on holiday and use it in another location?
I've seen conflicting advice, but that was on Facebook pages, not here.

Would be no problem with the Mag or Avov units but some androids may be problematic.

I use the STB emulator on Android, so effectively a MAG 250

I can't see any problems coming up as the box retains the same mac, connection info and nothing changes aside from the internet connection which shouldn't pose any problems as I have used several different pieces of hardware including an Ooma Telo and no problems so long as you have an internet connection with enough speed and bandwidth. The only issue you might have is with the AC voltage as you may have to buy an adapter to plug into the power outlet but do a bit of research on your destination and its AC power .

PVR Stalker NFPS may have issues on different IP addresses (my experience), but all other clients shouldn't have an issue if properly configured.

My ISP gives me a new IP address every 24hrs, so I can't see what issue I would get?

Your box should travel with you anywhere you want, as long as you have High Speed internet.... the main thing is will the service be up and running ?

I brought mine to Turkey with me. No problem at all
