Need help starting box mag 254

Hi couldn't get my box up with any procedure on getting past authentication error so I reset my box. Now I'm getting a message from my TV saying resolution mode not supported and black screen. I tried holding down menu button on remote while starting up box up for 10 sec or longer nothing working. Any help on how to get to menu on box??

I got in. reset my settings got to authentication and got error. I'm getting sick of this I don't know what or where I am off.but i am pissed off.

Is it the r14 ?
