I bricked mine updating it to but I managed to unbrick it. It wasn't easy to fix.
bricked Sanfod is where you can not bring them back not even the support team
Bricking refers to a consumer electronic device that has been damaged beyond repair, making it utterly unusable, often because of damaged firmware. The use of the term stems from the brick-like shape of many consumer gadgets, and the fact that once they are rendered inoperative, they are virtually useless except as a paperweight or a doorstop.
Strictly speaking, a device is bricked when it completely loses its functionality. However, the term is being used with more flexibility these days, and in some cases, bricked electronics are still recoverable with some hardware replacement or additional software.
I know what it means but it is possible to bring them back despite what people say. All you need to do is take a sd card and find a program so that you can boot your mygica from the sd card. Download the recovery files, firmware etc and put them on the sd card. I'm simplifying things here because I don't want to get into it. Mygica told me to take mine back to Canada Computer and they would give me a new one, however I lost the receipt so I did a search , found the info and fixed it and yes it was deader than a door nail.
