Your MAC may have changed if you are having authenticion problems

Over the weekend I started getting "Unable to get stream URL" for a growing number of channels and by Monday morning I could not load any channels so decided to restart the pvr client. Got an "Authentication failed" message like so many others so assumed that IPTV was simply down again & just retried it a couple of times each day to see if it was back up.

This morning the auth failed message popped up instantly instead of after the usual 5-6 second wait so I thought I would try a reset. To my surprise, my MAC had reverted to one that I used several months ago on a different box. I changed the address in the stalker client (without a reset), restarted the pvr manager, and it authed, loaded channels and guide, and plays everything as before.

I would guess that NFPS had to reload a database backup file but whatever the reason, if you are having authentication problems, it's worth a look to see if your MAC address has changed.

for me i unplugged the box for hr turn off live tv first and then turned on box and live tv and all was good may work for some
