Channels image quality !!!

I am watching the IPTV for the first time. Was the picture quality always like it is now ??? or because of the problems the server had ???

look most are sd not hd so hold tight they should now work on that

Yeah most channels look less than 480i.
A very few channels look 480p or better, very few a handful rather. I'm sure things will get better as time goes, most important is to get this service stable once and for all. Then we can work on getting the channels up to date with the 21st century...

PS: I'm going through each channel as we speak, checking definition quality and how many channels are down not working. So far I have 76 channels down on my count.

I will be happy when they make it 720P, the current quality is crappy and makes me feel like if I'm in late 80's early 90's, I remember that same quality around that time, lol, I'm not complaining I'm just saying.

I agree, but like you I believe it will get better as they have time to work on it. It is a rather big undertaking to start at the very beginning. We have come a long way, but we still have a way to go. I am wondering if these new boxes they are coming out with will solve the problem. Maybe we are at the limit of what our current boxes can do?

I'm sorry but I do not agree with this statement that "Maybe we are at the limit of what our current boxes can do?".
Most of our boxes are capable of 1080p or even some I believe can now do 4K.

I think most of the problems rely on the architecture of the service providers and I do believe their servers might be at the limit of what they can do and sustain at a decent load.
Most likely the servers will evolve and will have enough bandwidth and capacity to allow us to get 1080p in the near future, and sadly whatever providers are not able to upgrade their data centers will get abandoned and forgotten by the community

I notice on the Feb. 3 new Login. and Password etc. The video was much better... then all went down and came back up a day or two later
it was right back CRAPPY as you say...Now my Friends want even get pass the blue and yellow bar...I helped them to just about all the things
other people have done and there still not working maybe time to change up new provider this is getting out of hand and there Active time is
running out only weeks left and its been down for 8days.

No, I have a MAG254 and a French Portal. The quality is better than 720p. It has nothing to do with boxes...
