If remote is set to the url, it is most likely using that and not the updater. Enabling the updater may have forced a reloading of guide data and that kicked the remote url into gear. You can reload the guide yourself when it does not load initially.

System > Settings > TV > Guide > Clear data (Yes)

even w/t that no go. still unable to load guide

what is the other option if not using remote to url?

On-going support for epg ninja updater is suspended, as the developer has decided to move on, and probably won't visit the site going forward. I suggest users desiring a custom epg to review the threads in the other EPG subforum, as that is how it all began, or use the provider's epg.

Hi dara, thank you for all you do. I would like to ask you how would I use the providers guide? Ever since I got my donation last year I've used ******* EPG guide. I do have the built in stalker client on Kodi 16.1 using an invidia shield and iptv66. But ever since ******* left all I get is the channel logos but no info. How would I use the providers epg? I'm sure it's on here somewhere but there is so much old info I wouldn't know where to look. Would you be so kind as to point me in the right direction. Or post the link on how to do it? Or is the providers guide what I already have. Just channel logos but no info? Thank you

Dara, does this mean the auto epg xml update is out of commision? If so what other epg subforum are you referring to?

It may be up, but I don't use the epg updater. If there is no one to support it, there is no support. It may be best to uninstall it, and disable the repo as well. As far as the provider epg, there is a setting in PVR Stalker for that. It may be available or not.

Hi psycon, sorry I'm new to all this. My issue is that my epg is not working. Nothing in the guide appears at all. I'm a little confused. I'm using Kodi 16 on android device. I have the ********** add on enabled (version 1.0.0), I have the Stalker EPG Updater enabled (version 1.0.17) and I have the Stalker Client enabled (version 1.0.8). My IPTV channels are working but I have no guide for any of the channels. Never had issues with the guide before until a couple of months ago.

I would like to install the new repo from the site and install the epg updater service add on from the repo but I have no idea where to download it from. Everything in your links is marked out with **** and I can't reach the site to download the files I need. What's the site? Why is everything coded. Again sorry I'm new to this.

Thanks for answering. I will uninstall the epg ninja updater. So I'm guessing I need to be using the Stalker EPG updater. Currently I'm using Stalker EPG updater version 1.0.17 and it doesn't seem to be working. Gives me a Stalker EPG Updater error and says check log which I have no clue what that means. Where can I download the latest Stalker EPG updater repo or am I using the latest version?

If you used the updater just to receive the guide, you don't need to follow that route.
