    254 static ip stuck

Hey guys. I'm having issues on deleting the "static" ip information on my wifi settings. Looks like the subnet mask is changing to my ip address and not the 255.xxx.xxx.0. How in the world do I clear those settings? And have DHCP take over?

Did you try and kill the power and reboot the unit?

    Hello SYNS,

Please clearify what is your issue?

1.....Does your Box (Mag254) see's your WiFi? yes or no....
    2.....Go into INNER portal,.....settings,......System settings,.......Network,........Wireless (WiFi).......press OK.
3.....If recognition of the WiFi is good, then you have issue with your WiFi setup.

Let me know what is happening, I try to help you.

    cheers

Also make sure your wifi stick is compatible with the Mag 254.
You can see a list of adapters that do work on Mag 254 here below,

    1. Yes
    2. My magbox does see the WiFi and the link is up.. it was working with DHCP untill I wanted to set it up with a static ip for my router. After I set it up in the mag it does not want to keep the subnet mask..
