Hello again from Freiburg, Germany!

Some MAG and AuraHD boxes got a new Firmware update, so also our MAG 254!

We bring to your attention a list of the most important features of ultimate version of MAG Set-Top Boxes firmware:

✔ 10 digits-only limit for AccessControl password was set
✔ HomeMedia NFS mounting was restored
✔ AuraHD3 SMB mounting was restored
✔ HDMI switch on/off and playback of certain streams was fixed
✔ Manual DNS of Wi-Fi setup functioning was restored
✔ Functioning of ‘Wi-Fi setup>manual network settings’ was restored
✔ Setup wizard functioning was fixed
✔ Weather and location change functioning was fixed
✔ HDMI-DVI switch was fixed
✔ Portal launch Google geodata request was deleted
✔ Portal interface was fixed
✔ RC functioning was improved, push processing time was cut down

If you want to upgrade your MAG 254, you can do it yourself!

Start to your Inner Portal and normally a message pops up and gives you the chance to upgrade with red button (F!).
If that message not appesrs, then start Setup App and search for the Update section.

What I would like to know if the new software was available for download as a zip file. ( For the MAG-254 Box no problem ).

Thanks crazed, that is why I asked the question. I did not see it on their site (Infomir). I did downloaded to my Box, it exists. For now I have not noticed anything different.
Have to wait and see what happens.

My mag 254 i updated it last night through advance settings.

if your talking about the new r14 software update? here's the address..I had to type it in the address bar manually on my box
