need to clarify about Username/Password Authentication on a MAG 254

Hi, like in the tutorial, my only portal is iks66, did an update in the inner portal, never ask for username/password, then a reboot and works o.k. Am I o.k. for feb.1 or am I missing something? Because I didn't find in any of the settings where to put my username/password. Thanks

You are fine for now, as February 1, 2016 (ETA) approaches, if you unit is in standby or your viewing tv in the portal you will likely experience "Authentication Problem" pop up on your screen forcing you to reload the portal, or reboot the portal. Only then will you be prompted to enter your username/password.

On MAG units it will pop up on the screen and will ask you for that information, so you can only enter it when it will ask you which is supposed to be active on February 1, 2016

AVOV users have the advantage to get it out of the way in advance.
