its different on every device.. you need to see what works best for you by trial and error... jsut change it and restart kodi.. the startup animation will play smoothly when you are at a good setting.. if not, you need a current box..

Just tried to install today and I keep getting Error remote path doesn't exist doing the setup

What is the path it should be so I can change it in the setup config?
Tried on my PC and an Amazon fire

I downloaded the installer about 2 hours a go . I finally got it to run but after it, crashed
the hole system. Note I did this on a Fresh Install of kodi 15.2 On A Amazon Fire TV

kodi doesnt like the import sometimes.. kodi may crash (which is ok, cause you need to restart anyways).. sometimes you need to go back and set the skin manually, sometime it sets itself.. that seems to be a kodi issue, not with the installer..

i may look into another installer going forward.. current one is jsut a dirty mod of kodis backup plugin..

If I'm not mistaking it's only for Kodi 16, that maybe where your problem lies...

If on PC? you need to change settings per psycon instructions...

on windows devices you need to set the go to settings>skinsettings>extras and set the startup movie to the movie file in the home folder>userdata>addon_data>skin.mimic

Have anyone noticed, that when you press up up over settings you get more options?
Such as movie spotlight, recent movies, resumable movie, episodes spotlight, recent episodes and ongoing episodes?

Not sure if it's the build or skin, either way loving it...
