Fire TV box and stick powered on at same time, potential double use trouble?

I have two fire devices. Since they are both set up to run iptv stalker for nfps and they both have the same mac id, am I risking it? I ask because these devices do not actually power down. So is it going to be safe if I just leave them off the xbmc stuff and on an amazon items while they are at rest to avoid being blacklisted? I don't want to use them at the same time, I just want to avoid the situation where they run concurrently by mistake. I would rather not have to unplug the power supplies after each use to make them stop completely.
Am I correct in assuming that if there is no request for a serial on a second device while one is already on, then that's the basis for staying clear of double trouble? And if only one or the other are tuning in any xbmc, no trouble? Or how does this all shake down at the technical end?

As long as Kodi is closed, you are fine having both devices on
