Mag254 to Surround Sound System

Cannot seem to fathom out how to connect my Mag254 and TV to my surround sound system. With my Sky box it was easy HDMI to TV and HDMI to Surround Sound (Onkyo TX-SR605) but not sure how to do it with the Mag254
Can anybody help please?

I connect my surround system through the AV output of my MAG254 and it works very good: HDMI to TV, and AV to sound system.

Thanks for that will give that a go, I think I have to assign the output feeds on the sound system to get it right but seem to have a mental block on it, oh well will get it right in the end.
