Movie Applications not working! - Genesis - Phoenix - 1Channel

I recently purchased an M8 Android box running Kitkat 4.4.2

It came with a version of Kodi already set up, and for a while it was working fine, I was watching movies & TV shows with no problems. However the box started to slow down as it was constantly updating 100's of applications that i didn't ever use so i decided to do a fresh install and only download the apps i used from the relevant repo's so it would run quicker, this is where my problems began! I will use Genesis as the example of my problem but its the same across the board.



- Firstly I reset my box back to factory settings (Kitkat 4.4.2) & set the correct date & time, Then downloaded & installed Kodi v15.2 Isengard from http://kodi.tv/download/ using the built in browser.

- Upon opening Kodi, it went through the usual motions. I then added the Fusion source & Lambda repo, from there i downloaded & installed Genesis 5.1.4.

- I then opened Genesis > Movies & was presented with the normal submenu (Year, People, Most Watched etc) and this is where the problem occurs.

- If i click on "People Watching" for example, I get the circular icon in the bottom right "Working..." for 5-10 seconds then nothing happens, it just stays on the same screen. It happens for every link in the sub menu & also happends in the other movie apps i have installed. Ive only tried afew links but live TV seems to be working.

Now, I have Kodi & Genesis on another identical TV box in my house and it works fine, I also have it on my iMac & ive never had any problems. I cant seem to find any solution to this problem on the internet. If anyone could help or point me in the direct direction i would be greatful, its driving me mad!

try this .. you will need to uninstall kodi 15.2 and install kodi 16 beta..

Ive installed Kodi 16 as suggested. However there is no download link under "psycon's build - My fully customized kodi setup - you probably want this" on your webpage. cheers

Kodi 15.2 here on a minix…genesis working, phoenix (have it but don't use it), 1 Channel (was getting a no connection notice so did some reading on interwebz and changed website in config page from primewire.ag to 1channel.ag…now it works fine.
