invalid mac address

Hi , i have entered and linked several mac addresses with android boxes . Today , however i am getting a stalker invalid error .
serial number etc seems to be good however could it be a problem with the MAC ?
Do i use 00:1A:78 or 00:1A:79???

That is what i have been using . First i use the mac checker to ensure its available . Then i activate the mac and enter it on the device together with serial number id #1 id#2 and signature
and i still get and error ..
