    Channels are blury

    Hi All,

For the past month i have been testing out the iptv service. But what i noticed is that a alot of the channels are blurry looking.
I can literally see the square pixels. I was wondering if maybe my STB Emulator is not correctly configured. I attached a screenshot.
Any help would be highly appreciated.

    Thanks,

    drom

It isn't going to look as sharp or crisp as an iks HD receiver no matter what you do. HD satellite feeds are 720p or 1080i resolution which looks real nice, IPTV is no where near HD quality and is probably over compressed. I have an AVOV box and it looks blurry (not sharp, crisp) for me too. Basically with IPTV you must accept that you're only going to get SD picture quality. I actually think that even the SD picture quality is more crisp, sharp on an iks box.

Only a few in the list are actually true HD quality though, and even those don't look nearly as good as what you get on a HD FTA receiver. I'm sure picture quality will improve over time buy as of now it's pretty poor quality by todays standards.

Thanks to all for the replies. I installed MX player and selected internal as the the mediaplayer. The channels look much better now. As rcm443 mentioned the quality ain't perfect.
