From my experience in the real world.... I had 3 meg service. Had no problems. (Unless of course they were working on the system...) That said, I did up it to 6 meg service because I do have computers that are online along with my android phone using the wifi. Also my wifi is locked down so people cant steal bandwidth. Also I would like to point out that speed is only one factor. Connection quality is also a needed requirement. Son in law has 50 mbps and has problems. But he is in an area that has old equipment. Me on the other hand has brand new wire ran and my area has upgraded their equipment so my connection quality at my end is great!
