Just bumping this up because I'd like to know the answer as well. Changing the time zone in the Couch Potato General settings and clearing data doesn't seem to do the trick.
For Stalker Client to work you need to set a real MAC.
While you need to set the MAC to blank if you're looking to stream to VLC or Simple Client, once you have downloaded the .m3u list you must...
Thanks karel, your steps got me going on my PC booting to the Linux OS after days of frustration. I replaced my MAC, serial, devices etc with new data and bingo.
The same steps and configuration...
Same here, with Kodi on PC and Stalker Client. m3u streams work fine with Simple Client and VLC etc, but no luck with Stalker Client. Crazed did a reset for me, and I've done many more since.

Tizer, I opened up the .m3u file in LibreOffice Writer and used "Find and Replace" to edit it to your example and it seems to work, although I've only tried a few channels so far.
You need to...
See the "help to everyone got it working" thread above for info that works for me.
My fingers are far from nimble, but it just took changing the ONE line in the m3u file to get ALL the channels I've tried to work correctly. Sweet indeed!
Thanks Tizer, I changed to the plus.m3u file, and then changed just the one channel, History HD, to your example and now ALL the channels are linking up properly.
Tizer, I'd like to try your suggestion. I've opened up both files but I don't see the lines you reference above, so I must be doing something wrong. Could you explain a little further for us?

Thanks for pointing this out Simpleuse, I pasted the link into IPTV Simple Client and it works great. This after days of trying to get Stalker Client running with a hundred different combinations of...
I had some trouble with this (kept getting blank files) before I tried using the JSON flavour of Schedules Direct in the initial dialogue box. Now all is well.
I'm just bumping up this tread to see if there's been any progress on this project.
It would seem to be the only way Stalker could be useful to me, as all channels freeze in prime time, but are...
Woo Hoo!
Good to hear, dvbken, it will make my life so much easier.
I have the same issue on my PC when running Kodi under Windows 7, but not on the same PC when running Linux. I've looked at the config several times and can see no difference between them. On the...
Freezing (buffering) here on all channels. Was buffer-free a couple of hours ago.
Speedtest shows internet speeds and ping are the same as earlier. Streams from other Kodi addons are fine.
No buffering here this morning, but last night no channel was watchable.
IPTV (Internet Protocol TV) and IKS (Internet Key Sharing) are two very different animals. Comparing them is really apples and oranges. With IPTV you just need a strong internet connection and a...
I've had much less freezing during the day and early evening here on west coast of NA, but every night at 8:00 PM PST EXACTLY, it all goes to hell. It's quite odd, Speedtest says my internet...
OK Couch, I guess we'll just pin our hopes on dvbken then.
Hey Couch, got Version 10.2.1-r2 installed and working fine, but, lIke curgs, I don't see the same set-up screen that you show above.
I have 4 tabs: Portals 1, 2 and 3 and Parental, but nothing...
I had no idea the Stalker Plus add-on had this capability, I've always used the version built into Kodi.
I'll give it a try as soon as I get home from work. Thanks couch!
I remember dvbken started a poll some weeks back to gauge interest in this feature.
Given the massive buffering that occurs during prime time viewing hours lately, the ability to record shows...
The guide data seems to be available again.
I had to manually download the xml file, and then had to delete the TV89.db file, but I now have a full guide.
Edit: just went over to my Linux...
