They claim it's a good replacement for MAG 254 on Amazon. Is it true?

Resolution changes on the Guide between HD & Non-HD
Does anyone know why does the resolution change on the Guide when selecting a Non-HD channel?
This didn't happen with MAG 254. I set both boxes on 1080i with 1280X720, but 322w1 gets blurry on the... -
