This is a great question. In simple client, there is a place in configuration to input an url for EPG. I don`t recall seeing a place in my Mag 254s for EPG configuration.

you are using an actual Mag 254 box. This happened to me and I just did a reset a few times.(took about 3 or 4 tries). Message went away and the Mag 254 worked perfectly.. I am a total noob but...

Your predicament is SO familiar. Been through it many times in many formats. 1> Be stubborn 2> keep trying 3> see 1 and 2. I had to reset my 254 back to defalt 5 or 6 times after it updated...

I ran across a posting on a satellite forum that mentioned IPTV. I have heard of it but really don`t know squat about it , so I Googled and luckily ran across this site.. I think I will like learning...
