My brand new MAG 254W1 is only able to record 40 seconds of the timer or instant recording...

Does that mean my unit is defective or that's just the way it is?

New MAG 254 owner here. I previously bought a Dreamlink T1+ but bought the MAG 254 after reading how popular it is and its ability to read m3u files.

I also bought for its recording...

The Google App or the Dreamlink store?

Now only if I am able to delete programs on the fly. Does anyone how to do that without taking out the USB device?

Can you use either flash drive or self-power USB hard drive?

Is there file size limit? What file system should the USB device be formatted for? Fat32? NTFS partition?
