sometime in the last month dare was issue with avov server to download the apps ,it was fixed
did you try to move the unit to another house and try dare and see what happens if work dare than its...

just do a factory reset after updating the box ,than start to download the apps you be ok

my guess
is that they switch servers dare for some is working and sum is not till you re update the mac address and than its working again
