I've used an Avov box and now a generic box with an Android TV system. Both connect fine, but as you are finding out a reliable EPG seems to be a real issue with IPTV....

I just received my box yesterday. Though it works fine, the remote range is pathetic. At 4 feet it works normally and at 6 feet is hit or miss. That's with new alkaline batteries.
