With the hauppage you can use nextpvr, download to Pc
Scan for channels, then enable live tv and nextpvr in Kodi
Not sure about Mag boxes...

You need a compatible PVR to do so, What Stream program
Came with your card? Then I check to see what PVR is compatible...

You'll have to find out which PVR is compatible with your device.
Such as Hauppauge tv tuner works with Next PVR...

Such as movie spotlight, recent movies, resumable movie, episodes spotlight, recent episodes and ongoing episodes?...

If on PC? you need to change settings per psycon instructions...

on windows devices you need to set the go to settings>skinsettings>extras and set the startup movie to the movie file in the...

If I'm not mistaking it's only for Kodi 16, that maybe where your problem lies...
