What version of kodi are you running?

Try disableling the pvr, do an IPTV reset from your provider, go back into the system, TV and clear cache also clear the cache guide, then enable the pvr...

I don't know what an AFTV box is. If it's Android based then should be OK. I only have android devices and works no problem.

If you have a keyboard remote, I'm pretty sure you can press button "A" on manually adjust the live tv stream as you are watching the channel
