MXQ Surround Sound Issue

Just got a new MXQ box but, I use an LG Surround Sound System. I am currently plugging it in to my tv using Simplink and with an HDMI cable (ARC). It works perfectly on every other fta receiver, PS4, works with apps built in to the smart tv. But for some reason, if I plug my mxq box into the tv (using hdmi) the surround sound box just glitches out and stops working. It will only work, after if I disconnect my mxq box (hdmi) from the tv and restart my tv/surround sound box (their linked together so that if the tv goes off and the surround sound box does too). Any help here? I know a lot of people have had this issue, If I get another box like the OTT M8 4k, will it do the same?
