kodi arcade help

ok i have a question ; i have a z7+ box and i have the latest kodi with arcade the only vids out there r for a stick and shield but what i wanted to know is in order to use a wireless game controller do i have to first have it set up with the z7+ bluetooth cause when u go n2 the kodi setting it only has settings for wired controller so i wanted to ask first , im thinkin gif i hook up bluetooth then boot n2 kodi go to input im thinking the setting for wired would also include bluetooth has any one done this ? id rather ask now then post a hep me later lol .... thank you for all or any help u can give ....
